Journals seem to be defined as having a weight of 100 lb. or more for the paper. Sketchbooks, on the other hand, seem to be defined as having a weight of anything less than 100 lb. for the paper.

5 x 9 Journal

5 x 9 journal predominantly consists of flowers, spirals, and butterflies and a few abstracts.

Some images have been removed and used in alcohol ink, collage, or other projects.

A large section of images reside in a portfolio album while the rest of the images remain in the original journal.

Mixed Media (100 lb.) 6 x 8

6×8 journal 100lb has changed so much. Most of the older sketches have been cut out and collaged elsewhere. An inverse of the sketches with new paper(s) collaged in has been a result for some of the images. I am always curious to see where new developments lead.
